23 Mar - Grand Union Canal at Shuckburgh - 526.0 miles to go
Continuing the story, begun in my previous blog at onethousandmilesin2014.blogspot.co.uk ... no realistic chance of doing 1000 miles this year, so aiming instead for 1000 kilometers (621.4 miles).
Out again today, Dorota and myself taking a short walk along the Grand Union Canal at Lowaer Shuckburgh. A mere 1.9 miles, but good to feel the ground under one's feet again.

There were ducks and geese, gracefully arched bridges and rippling water, early violets hidden in the grass and leaf buds popping open on the bushes here and there.
